25th January 2008 - StarProducer (early beta)
Now, StarPlay lets you to add your own audio or video file as accompaniment!
Currently in early beta, StarProducer enables you to synchronize your audio or video to a Sibelius score. This allows you to receive feedback on your performance as you watch the video or listen to the audio and play together.
StarProducer will be a valuable addition for teachers as this gives them the ability to record videos and audios for their students to practice with.
Video and audio file formats which can be synchronized to a Sibelius score using StarProducer currently include .wav, .avi, .wma and .wmv.
If you wish to beta test StarProducer, please send us an email. The early beta version of StarProducer is only recommended for technically advanced users.
A wizard is currently being developed which will make synchronizing media files to a Sibelius score simple for everyone. If you want to be notified when this is available, please click here to send us an email.
